How to Apply Dry Rubs

Applying your dry rub to the meat you are going to be cooking is an important step in obtaining the flavor and appearance you are looking for in the final cooked meat. Dry rubs can either be sprinkled directly on the meat, directly rubbed on the meat. To apply a rub that is in a shaker simply shake the spice on the meat before cooking. Make sure you get it evenly spread out over the piece of meat. You can even add to that a thin layer of a great sauce such as Worcestershire to add more flavor to the meat.
